Amendments to the LEP's

 

Other Amendments

Local Environmental Plans are planning instruments that are able to change to reflect changing community expectations and environmental legislation.

Since 1998, the Snowy River LEP 1997 has been amended on a number of occasions. A summary of the more significant amendments include:

Amendment No. 4 - Exempt and Complying Development (Gazetted 10 March 2000). Came into force on 17 March 2000.

Amendment No. 1 - Heritage Items and Dalgety Heritage Conservation Area (Gazetted 12 May 2000). Came into force on 12 May 2000.

Amendment No. 2 - Deferred Matters (Gazetted 2 February 2001)

Amendment No. 8 - Heritage Items, Strata Subdivision in 2(a), (b) and (c) zones, correct anomalies and amend Lodge definition. (Gazetted 12 April 2002).

Amendment No.10 - Private Cemeteries, Education Establishments, Attached & Detached dual occupancy development and Heritage Items. (Gazetted 24 December 2003).

Amendment No. 11 - Veterinary Hospitals in Zone 4 and changed Definition of Holiday Dwelling. (Gazetted 25 June 2004.)

The Snowy River Rural LEP 2007 has also been amended since its gazettal in 2007.

Amendment No.15 - Tyrolean Village- providing for additional residential and public open space uses. (Commenced 210)

 

The amendments have been incorporated into both the electronic and hard copies of the LEP's.
