Who is it for?

Community Transport is available to residents within the Cooma Monaro and Snowy River Shires who:

~ are frail aged

~ have a disability

~ or who care for a person who is frail aged or who has a disability

~ people needing assistance to access mainstream health services, or who are geographically or socially isolated.

SRCM Community Transport does not exist to provide transport to the 'general public', but receives funding from the Government to assist persons within the particular target groups above. It is important to recognize that even if a person falls within the categories of eligibility, provision of service is not an entitlement, and also depends on availability of funding and other resources, and the relative need of their situation.
